Let me introduce myself, my name is Cinthya Fernández. I am 27 years old, born in California and raised in Jalisco by my Mexican parents. From an early age, I was very aware of the love I have for my Mexico, which is why I want to share it with you through everything you'll find on my website. This is the most personal part of this project. My late maternal grandmother, Juana Barragán, whom I miss every day, grew up and lived in a town in Jalisco called Santa Catarina. I want to honor her life and all the traditions she taught me. Hence the name "Doña Cata Art", referring to the name of the town that saw the birth and growth of one of the most important people in my life.
